Chico Bonner

Chico Bonner has been a high-level tennis player in Orange County for over 30 years. He competed as a college player at Cal State Fullerton, and then on the pro-satellite tour. Chico went on to coach high school, college, and pro-level tennis players.
 
Since Chico has shifted his focus to pickleball, he has not looked back. Chico says that he sees the game continuing to grow and eventually thinks it will become a collegiate sport as well as an Olympic Sport. As of 2021, pickleball is the #1 racket/paddle sport in the USA based on growth stats.

In December of 2020, he created the USPF (United States Pickleball Federation) and has recently placed Gold at the 2021 Newport Beach Championships 4.5/5.0 level Men’s Doubles and a Silver at the 2020 Newport Beach Winter
Open Doubles 4.5.

Chico brings enthusiasm and expertise to our courts and he loves introducing the game to new players.
